Whether you have been here before or not.. WELCOME! I'm
not much of a photographer but I enjoy taking photos that [to me] seem unusual or interesting. Sometimes I think they are funny, sometimes strange and sometimes R rated. In any case you are encouraged to put comments in the visitors book. I hope I can make you smile or even giggle a bit.
You're bloody right mate! - we are NOT in New South Wales.
The Burdekin Sailing Club meets here every 22 years on
1st June - but only if that falls on a Friday.
And they repaint it every meeting!
The bridge over the Burdekin River was built before they imagined trucks could be this big.

I want this painted on the side of my caravan.
That's what the people in Queensland do when they get tired of fishing.
This is where the people from NSW go when they get tired of lockdowns - Queensland.

They get SNOW in Queensland, but it's black. It all falls from the sky after they burn a crop of sugar. Don't hang out the washing at the wrong time of day!
That's sugar cane, as far as the eye can see. And we are told that it's not good for us. So who's eating it all?
That is in a straight line. Very handy to know if you fly a plane but confusing if you are walking home.

We walked the length of the main street trying to buy an ice cream. One really "old timer" told us to try the "Home Hill Korner Shoppe".
How on Earth did they manufacture a glass tank THAT BIG!!!
The Murals in Bowan are great! The water supply tastes a
little fishy though.
This may be the mural capital of the
world. . . . well certainly Queensland anyway.
