WELCOME! - I'm
not much of a photographer but I enjoy taking photos that [to me] seem unusual or interesting. Sometimes I think they are funny, sometimes strange and sometimes R rated. In any case you are encouraged to put comments in the visitors book
(top of page). I hope I can make you smile or even giggle a bit.
Welcome to Warwick?
Er..? I must have
taken a wrong turn.
So I tried to get there from the other end of town.
Then the guy in the local servo told me it had been raining...
Ohh ...
NO!
The Labor party has a local member.
People in
Warwick used to see him getting aound town
in this car.
But not recently.

They also have a member of the "other" party in Warwick.
He hasn't heard about some of the newer technology - like windscreens, or
windscreen wipers. But he's happy in his 1909 Dallascq (or is it
"Dallesq"). Two cylinders, eight horsepower, pneumatic tyres, and capable of
outrunning me.
LOOK OUT CONNIE! ... RUN!
There's a facination
for wild pigs in Moonee QLD.
It was noisy. The whole of the pub and the servo shook.
The windows rattled and everybody stood back from the road. Even the dogs and
wild pigs hid under tables.
The truckies at Moonee were running
a 500 meter sprint race on the Leichhardt Higway through Moonee. The publican
agreed to shout beers for the winner.
Only trouble was, he couldn't turn
his truck around to come back for the prize.

Apparently the town of Yelarton won prizes and rcognition for the silo paintings.
It got a little wet between Moonee and Miles.
The motorhome in the distance stood for ages while the driver plucked up the
courage to cross the waterway.
Of course the Landcruiser didn't even get
wet!
On Monday, we saw a "FOOD" sign over the rail line and took a bit of a diversion - but they didn't open on Mondays!

A smaller than average truck stop- but no fuel, no coffee, no food, no parking. No trucks either.
Does this mean that trains must use the side road?
or is there a museum in the next side road.
No silly, there's a
train coming!
This was the town of Taroom - until recently.
