Whether you have been here before or not.. WELCOME! I'm not much of a photographer but I enjoy taking photos that [to me] seem unusual or interesting. Sometimes I think they are funny, sometimes strange and sometimes R rated. In any case you are encouraged to put comments in the visitors book. I hope I can make you smile or even giggle a bit.

If you look at a map, you should be able to give me the exact co-ordinates of this sign - unless the sign has been moved in the last seven years...

He charges $2 for a ride on this thing. By the time all his grass has been mowed he has made around $80.

Connie wondered why I wanted to wait in the car while she ducked into the shops.

You won't believe who is about to eat that.

And there's the result. "And whats for desert" Connie said.

Before applying for a job you apparently must remove your shoes, and don't expect service - no exceptions.

The main street in Charters Towers never changes much - we've been watching it since 2003.

Around the other side of the water tank is a huge sign "THE WORLD". In the early days the residents considered Charters Towers to be the centre of the world.

Out walking... this fellow pulled up beside us and asked for directions to a butchers shop. What a fool, it was Sunday.
