WELCOME!  -  I'm not much of a photographer but I enjoy taking photos that [to me] seem unusual or interesting. Sometimes I think they are funny, sometimes strange and sometimes R rated. I hope I can make you smile or even giggle a bit.

Things that go bump in the night

At 1:00 am I was woken by a huge bang as the caravan shook. I guessed that somebody had run into the A frame and tripped over it. Then I saw the time and decided I was probably wrong. Maybe somebody was driving away in my Landcruiser and had hit the caravan !!!  I grabbed a torch and sent Connie out to look for the thief, but when she came back she told me I was dreaming. Now that we were both awake, we could hear somebody trying to get into the caravan. I (being the bravest one) offered to ring the police, but HELL! my phone was out of range. I had no choice but to go outside with the torch and confront the burglar. Three times I went out in my undies looking for him and twice I came back empty handed. Finally at 2:00 am I looked up and discovered this guy had been walking around on the roof of the caravan - watching me! He had fallen or jumped from a nearby tree and put a dent in my caravan roof. I threw a carrott outside and we went back to sleep.

Name please

Ok, so we know what he is, but whats his name ?

Please hurry

When Connie's iPad stopped working we went to Hardly Normal's to get a new one. I did not want to show off my skills so I took it back to the shop to have all the programs, data and photos copied to the new one. During the two days while this was happening Connie suffered severely. Getting the new one back in fully working order may have saved her life.

Our house

This is where we live when we stop in Rockhampton. Week one averaged 26 degrees each day - week two averaged 23 each day - I'll tell you about week three when we leave.

Kinda scary eh!

Wanna guess what it is? My first thought was a flying catarooamuss.

Thats not me

"Thats not me Connie"!!  I'm over here beside the Ice Cream stand. Although I can understand the mistake.

Great balls of fire

Hiding behind this sad face was the happiest friendliest dog I've ever met. He reached over and swallowed my ice cream in one gulp as we passed each other in the showground. I just kept looking straight ahead and walked calmly away.

Water restrictions

If you think Sydney is short of water you should live here.

Kiss or cuddle

What exactly did Connie whisper to him.
Huh! trying to kiss him?
He doesn't look too happy about that.

Kenny Koala

A good story. He was found in the bush with a serious illness that made him 90% blind and unlikely to survive. He was taken to the Rockhampton zoo where he has recovered all his health except his sight.

Fatty

You all know what he is ... don't you. It's a very rare species of fat dog, I think.

Evacuate the pool.

The pool in the caravan park is closed each afternoon while he has a dip to cool off.
