12th June : We hope there is a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow ... or even just a pot!

We have moved further north (after the auto electrician appeared to have sorted out the main electrical problem). As we set up at Goomeri, I saw this rainbow hovering above our caravan ... is it a sign of things to come, or just more f@#*^ rain?

WAH!!!!!!!

My caravan looks like a toy next to this one.

Time for a scotch and sleepy time, I think we've earned it.

13th June : Bundaberg was a massive relief. As we drove from Goomeri to Bundaberg we could see the temperature rising throughout the day. By the time we arrived it had reached 21 degrees and I passed out!

Fortunately, and only just in time, I spotted this ....

Now you know how we love ice cream, well this one was truly, truly the best creamiest ice cream I have ever tasted without any shadow of a doubt. The shopkeeper explained that the ice cream contained so much full cream and fat that each customer was only allowed ONE ice cream. Connie also said that one was enough.

Sunday 17th June: I finally managed to find the time to put up an antenna.

Bundaberg is famous for it's distillery. One of the famous products is "Royal Liqueur Rum" containing chocolate and coffee.

I have trouble understanding how something that tastes as heavenly as Royal Liqueur Rum could come from a factory as ugly as this.

No! ... it's not an aged care facility.

It's a caravan park where grey nomads gather to tell lies and really  t a l l  stories.

24th June:

We arrived in Rockhampton Saturday 23rd, with the intention of stopping for three days. The weather has been bloody awful! In this lousy weather I haven't seen anything exciting to take pictures of so don't expect much. I suspect that it may be another week before things brighten up here in Qld. Come back and check part three in a week or so.
