Whether you have been here before or not.. WELCOME! I'm
not much of a photographer but I enjoy taking photos that [to me] seem unusual or interesting. Sometimes I think they are funny, sometimes strange and sometimes R rated. In any case you are encouraged to put comments in the visitors book. I hope I can make you smile or even giggle a bit.
It's not until you get to the top of Mount Stuart and look East that you can appreciate the size of Townsville. It is surely bigger than Tasmania.
This (looking to the left a bit) was supposed to be stitched to the picture above, but after stuffing it up several times I gave up.
This is looking North from Mount Stuart. If you have really good eyes you can see Cairns. I can't but you might.
As you can imagine it is a steep climb for 9 kilometers. The hoons love racing down it in their fast cars. This sign is sure to stop them !!!!

DON'T wander off the sides of the road. If you "fall" off the road, don't expect anybody to help you up. Not me anyway.
After enjoying the view from the top of Mount Stuart, I crawled slowly down the hill at a sensible 10 to 15 kph - and a "P" plate driver sped past me.
One or two kilometers down the hill we passed him again BUT THIS TIME HE SEEMED TO BE HAVING TROUBLE PARKING.
He didn't wave back to us as we went past, but I'm sure he will be grateful that I phoned "Windscreens O'Brien" for him.
My thoughts.... Windscreens O'Brien may be a little wary of the "Live Bombs" and "Lasers" along the sides of this road.
Bloody P platers!

LOOK OUT!!!
There are still a few BIG birds in Queensland. Connie punched this one in the face, and hurt her hand. I ran like hell the opposite way.
To celebrate Connie's near death experience with the pre-historic terradactyl we had dinner at an exclusive restaurant. A few of the luxuries were missing, like tablecloths, cutlery, napkins, wine - and even food was a bit scarce. None of that mattered because at 8 o'clock in the evening it was still warm outside -
I had to take Connie back to our van when the bill for her alcohol got a bit high.

We all know how small Connie is ... but this is ridiculous!
This little guy took a liking to Connie in the main street of Cardwell.
OK! who remembers what this is?
If you do, you're OLD!
