Whether you have been here before or not.. WELCOME! I'm
not much of a photographer but I enjoy taking photos that [to me] seem unusual or interesting. Sometimes I think they are funny, sometimes strange and sometimes R rated. In any case you are encouraged to put comments in the visitors book. I hope I can make you smile or even giggle a bit.
This was Home Sweet Home in Charters Towers for a week. If Charters Towers didn't have a Woolworths it would have been for a day.
Just before we left Charters Towers we visited the local show that was starting up. We purchased a hamburger and a steakburger for lunch while we watched the show dogs being paraded around.
The dogs were great but the burgers were bloody awful!
Wake me up when it's my turn.

This guy had a wicked sense of humour. I patted him on the nose and he bit me.
I'm trying out a new coal fired water heater.
The word "TRAINS" must be difficult to spell - or hard to read?

The bar maid in the Giru International Hotel explained everything about the town of Giru when she turned around.
International!!! there's only nine people in the town - not counting the publican and the bar maid.
This was a bid for fame and glory. A railway station in Giru - has it EVER been used.

The sign on the left says "We love it up here". The little wire gate in the top right of the picture is the very quick way out for any boarders who don't say they love it.
Meet Alicia who is the only native American Indian in Australia at the moment (she told me that and I agreed to believe it). She hates Donald Trump and loves Bernie Sanders (who should have won the presidency) and she won't go back to Michigan until Trump is impeached. Alicia has been known to hunt snakes and possums and to everybody's surprise she can fish without physically handling the bait. She is sometimes found sleeping in a hammock between trees in a park.
This is Alicia's other option.
When it comes to work, Alicia can lend a hand at pretty much anything, anywhere.
Looking for a Jilleroo?
