Whether you have been here before or not.. WELCOME! I'm
not much of a photographer but I enjoy taking photos that [to me] seem unusual or interesting. Sometimes I think they are funny, sometimes strange and sometimes R rated. In any case you are encouraged to put comments in the visitors book. I hope I can make you smile or even giggle a bit.
Just south of Home Hill is Inkerman Mountain. We decided to climb to the top (214 meters above sea level) and take some pictures. Oxygen was becoming a problem but we saved the day - we took a bottle of port and two glasses.
In Home Hill we spotted this sign on the pub in the main street. I suppose if you've had a few drinks on a Friday or Sunday you might see one or two in your beer.
Yeah .. but how do you know who really came first?

I went straight into the pub and put my name down for this competition!
So then they introduced me to the old man whose legs had to be waxed!!!
Damn! might see you next year instead.
That's not what it says in the Oxford Dictionary... ?
It has to be provided in a clean chilled glass, with the right amount of bubbles, the right sized head, at the right temperature, and positioned correctly on the bar in front of the customer with a knowing smile...
"I know exactly what you want"!
I saw one guy getting "dropped" by his wife right outside the pub. He just kept smiling as he carried a full washing basket into the public bar.

Now I know how the remaining survivors of the Burke & Wills expedition felt when they finally reached the ocean.
This fellow is retracing the same Burke & Wills expedition using more modern machinery - like a Nissan!!!???
"Hey! you've arrived, you can stop now".
Leave it to me, I'll save him ..... in my Mazda BT50.

Notice something important.
There's not a single Toyota Landcruiser out there!
The Landcruisers just drove right on to the other side
As he ran across the tar road he was black, then as he ran across the grass he was green, then he stopped in the leaves and dried grass and put on some more makeup.
For the wedding.... something borrowed, something blue, something old and something new. This tree stump is 20,000,000 years old (20 million). But don't try taking it to a wedding, it turned to ROCK.
