Whether you have been here before or not.. WELCOME! I enjoy taking photos that [to me] seem unusual or interesting. Sometimes I think they are funny, sometimes strange and sometimes R rated. In any case you are encouraged to put comments in the visitors book. I hope I can make you smile or even giggle a bit.

His
name is "Roy Aoki" and he is from Japan. The amazing thing about Roy is that he
has ridden his bike half way around Australia already and intends to ride the
whole way around!!!
Few people would have the stamina to PLAN a trip like that - let alone DO it.
Good on you Roy!
"Free
Camping" means finding a place where you can park overnight without upsetting
anybody - other than the guy next to you.
If you need a generator during the evening after about 6 o'clock you're going to upset somebody. This is a typical roadside rest area in the evening on the Stuart Highway.
These
are two of the teeth punctures in Connie's leg where a dog bit her.
We had just arrived at the Daly Waters Pub to take some pics and look around. Connie crossed the street to put some paper in a bin when the dog attacked and knocked her clean off her feet. One of the workers at the pub (the one who owned the dog) found a paramedic who cleaned and bandaged connies bites. We headed to Katherine hospital (300 kilometers) for a tetanus injection and new dressing. At this stage there shouldn't be any complications as long as the dog doesn't make too much noise when I kill it.

The
perpetrator .. he even looks guilty ...
Peter
the paramedic was working a few kilometers away and was hugely apreciated. He
checked out the nearest clinics and hospitals for us.
It's not mine.
But that's what it looks like if you park your caravan near a Queensland ants nest while you stop for lunch.

This
is one of the hot springs in Katherine. It flows just a short distance to the
Katherine River. When white people are caught trespassing or breaking local
laws, they are thrown into the pools to cook.
Connie
went shopping at the local art gallery and this is what she came back with. The
very large pretzel sticks on the right (in the foreground) are baked locally. If
you are offered one to eat - say NO!
The
local aboriginals spent weeks painting this beautiful mural.
Then some dick-head came along and installed the air conditioner. The installer was thrown in the hot spring to cook.
