Whether you have been here before or not.. WELCOME! I enjoy taking photos that [to me] seem unusual or interesting. Sometimes I think they are funny, sometimes strange and sometimes R rated. In any case you are encouraged to put comments in the visitors book. I hope I can make you smile or even giggle a bit.

A huge crocodileWe decided to go for a stroll but found the caravan park was deserted. One of the grey nomads who was waiting for the emergency services to arrive told me that a giant crocodile was prowling around the park.

Everybody returned to their caravans when I picked it up and threw it back into the water.

The JabiruYou thought that Jabiru was a national park in N.T.

You get an extra $50 if you also knew this bird was a Jabiru.

Sorry, the $50 has already been claimed.

Weaner creek signApparently the creek is very small.

No, not the Devils Marbles

The 650 kilometer drive from Kununurra to Fitzroy Crossing didn't bother me - but stacking up these rocks really was really hard work.

Connie had to help with some of the bigger ones.

Roasted lizards

These birds are quite smart.

If they see smoke on the horizon they head that way and get a freshly cooked lunch.

Trikes or Quikes

The one at the front is a three wheeled motorbike (or is it a trike?)

The closer one has five wheels .. does that make it a quike?

Huge rock piles

The Kimberly is RED. Thats because the ground is so full of iron and it's going rusty.

Don't believe me? Hit a rock with a hammer and you'll hear it ringing!

I think the aurora in this photo was caused by the magnetic field.

Mind your own business

Setting up the caravan when we arrived at Fitzroy Crossing took ten minutes or so - then a voice from above said "Jesus, that's not my idea of a holiday, I couldn't go through all that stuffing around"!

I looked up at the cabins above us and saw the 60 year old (maybe 10 yrs my junior) and his wife watching my every move.

I replied, "Shit! if I was your age I couldn't do it either, just be careful getting down those stairs".

They both lit another cigarette.

Whats for lunch today mum?

Water!   and don't complain, we're lucky we got that!

I guess that skid marks like these happen when a kangaroo decides he can make it to the other side before the car arrives.

Yep!   The car goes much faster when you smoke pot.

And it seems to work well.

I didn't realise the airport in Broome was smack in the middle of town.
