Whether you have been here before or not.. WELCOME! I enjoy taking photos that [to me] seem unusual or interesting. Sometimes I think they are funny, sometimes strange and sometimes R rated. In any case you are encouraged to put comments in the visitors book. I hope I can make you smile or even giggle a bit.

Along
the road from Ilfracombe to Charleville the landscape is unbelievably GREEN. In
every direction it is green as far as we could see. It is nothing like we have
seen here in the past. It looks so delicious that we were tempted to stop and
have some of it for morning tea.
Some people !!!!
At this roadside rest area, somebody has stolen the shed.
That's not nice .... but even worse, they took the toilet paper roll and left none for the next person!
Live and learn.
I had no idea that cows could eat cars. I will be wary of them.

No
time for speeding - but plenty of time for speed cameras.
Look at the background of this picture. I was booked for doing 67 kph at Longreach and the background of my "speeding" photo was exactly the same as this!
A dangerous area? with high traffic congestion? tricky intersections? pedestrian crossings? and a lot of BULLSHIT by the Queensland police department. Queensland police - get a life you bastards.
At a stopover in Blackall we found ourselves watching the annual go-cart races.
And who do you think was waiting at the finish line with a speed camera in his hand ....

I didn't know this happened in Charleville.
But the cook won't forget about it!!!
I've heard about the "Black Stump" .. and .. "beyond the black stump" and so on.
But I didn't think it actually existed.
There's not much of it left today.
Apparently caravanners have been picking bits off it for years to keep as souvenirs.
The Warrego River looks like muddy water, but it's not.
It's actually watery mud.
As I walked over it I left footprints in it :-)

The river is so muddy that these guys have moved out.
Albert Stigger was obviously smarter than the modern politicians.
...
or a Qld highway patrol officer.
