Whether you have been here before or not.. WELCOME! I enjoy taking photos that [to me] seem unusual or interesting. Sometimes I think they are funny, sometimes strange and sometimes R rated. In any case you are encouraged to put comments in the visitors book. I hope I can make you smile or even giggle a bit.

At McKinley (where Crocodile Dundee had his office) one of the locals told me that the Australian Labor party was in town recently and were interested in buying this property for their offices. Looks appropriate to me !
The same local patron of the Blue Heeler pub told me that "The Greens" have put a deposit on this one - not because they want to buy it, they just don't want anybody else to snap it up in case it turns out to be a bargain! That also sounds like it would be true !
The Liberal Party has nearly finished renovating the "Walkabout Creek Hotel".
Malcolm does NOT want the Never Never Safari Tours coach (included in the original deal) and is prepared to forego many millions of dollars in order to cancel the deal. That sounds normal !

Everybody in Queensland - including the Blue Heeler pub, seems to have a copy of the original Waltzing Matilda music and words - as written by Banjo Patterson.
... but I'm the only one who has the original home made Anzac biscuits baked at the Blue Heeler pub today.
I bought them all and ate most of them before we got to Winton - much to Connie's disgust.
Previously on this trip I saw one of these and searched frantically for the other one.
They always come in pairs.
And here at last is the other one.

It seems that in Winton a few beers gets the imagination to stand erect. Huh! never works for me!
See what I mean!
I got my hangover here in Winton. Looks like one of the local coppers did too!

I came to see the Waltzing Matilda museum...
But it's gone! burnt to the ground in 2015. This is all that remains.
Even the North Gregory Hotel (rather classy hotel for the area) seems to claim that it is the Home of Waltzing Matilda.
After travelling some 10,000 or 11,000 kilometers I finally came across some wildlife.
Apart from a kangaroo that I nearly ran over, a dead cane toad and lots of birds, these are the only animals I've seen.
Where has all the Australian wildlife gone? Maybe the cane toads have killed them all?
